The artist Susanne Wind (born 1965) explores the relationship between humanity and nature in her work, celebrating natural beauty and its power. Her paintings, created using light and atmosphere rather than traditional colors, convey a positive outlook on life. After studying at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, she initially painted en plein air and captured her subjects with an analog camera. Since 2003, Wind has lived in Hamburg again and works in her studio using egg tempera on canvas. Her work has been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Germany and the USA.
