The landscape of Northern Germany, characterized by yellow rapeseed fields and rugged coastlines, inspires the Lübeck artist Stefan Dobritz, born in 1965. His art is influenced by his encounter with the painter Jürgen Runge. As a plein air painter, Dobritz works on location, using only a palette knife, which allows him to work both impulsively and with meticulous detail. Through targeted light and shadow effects, as well as harmonious color compositions, he captures the "beauty of a special moment."
