The landscape of Northern Germany, shaped by yellow rapeseed fields and rough coasts, inspires Lübeck artist Stefan Dobritz, born in 1965. His art is influenced by encountering the painter Jürgen Runge. As a Pleinair painter, Dobritz works on site and only uses the spatula, which enables him to work impulsively and detailed work. Through targeted light and shadow effects as well as harmonious color compositions, it captures the "beauty of the special moment". His reduced, but harmonious design language directs the viewer's gaze to moods and romantic experiences.
