Heretical voices may claim that classical music is dying and only a shadowy existence far behind pop, electronic, hip-hop and rock. The dominance of the popular music genres, which is also clear in media reporting, on the Internet and on social networks, does not mean that love for classical music fades.

Even if classical music no longer takes place as much in the spotlight and in the middle of society, as in the 18th and 19th centuries, the passion for the classic genre is unbroken for millions of people.

The declining trend may only be a facade for its actual popularity in the background, which will ultimately revive and will attract more attention to the general public.

What is it actually that distinguishes classical music and constitutes its charm?

The era of classical time - a little digression

The classic era, which includes about the second half of the 18th and the first decades of the following century, is one of the most important periods in the development of orchestration.

The most important composers of this time were Mozart and Haydn . In this era there were many significant developments that still shape and influence the music world of numerous modern genres.

The orchestra was standardized during the classic. From now on, the classic orchestra consisted of strings (first and second violin, viola, violoncelli and double bass), two flutes, two oboes, two clarinets, two tons, two or four horns, two trumpets and two timpani.

In the military information (No. 100), Haydn presented some pissed instruments that were normally not used in the orchestras of this time, namely triangle, hand basin and bass drum (a forerunner of the bass drum for techno and electronic music).

Mozart was also responsible for huge progress in creative use of instruments. His last two symphonies (No. 40, K 550 and 41, K 551) are among the most beautiful orchestrated works ever. For his 17 piano concerts, Mozart has devoted himself in detail to the combination of piano and orchestra.

The influence of classical music to this day ...

The classic was not just over after the 1830s, but still has an effect. As one of the earliest music epochs, it formed the basis for many future genres.

Musical terms such as symphony, concert and sonata emerged as composers into similar versions of the formation of a song. A special section from the classic era, which is now contained in practically every piece of music, is the chorus, the short melody that is repeated in a song.

Usually it is the part of a song that we remember the most, which makes the chorus one of the most elementary building blocks of modern music.
The influence of classical music does not end in the structure. Many elements that use famous artists such as Adele and Lady Gaga come from patterns that were discovered or created music history

The baroque and the romance are exemplary epochs from which well-known topics in songs like Lady Gagas Bad Romance (-> by Johann Sebastian Bach) and Barry Manilows Could Be Magic (-> by Frédéric Chopin) are implemented.

Artists live from inspiration and it is no surprise that some of them look at the greats of the past to create new ideas and topics.

Classical music has come to stay

So we can see that classical music – besides existing as its own genre – is also preserved in modern music.

Like any other form of music, the classic is also subject to constant change. It continues to develop and certainly also follows social tendencies, changed conventions and a changing etiquette.

Anyone who still goes to a large, classical concert will not be able to escape the unbroken pull of virtuosity, technical performance, emotional intensity and improvisational talent.

Passion that can only develop classical music:

Should you learn a classic instrument?

Are you one of the people who are not enough to only enjoy passively? Instead, you would like to immerse yourself in this musical world on an active level during your own action.

Then learning a classic instrument is obvious.

Now it may not be particularly sexy at first glance - especially if you are still a child, in puberty, or very popular with popular music. Secondly, it is much cooler and more practical to teach yourself an instrument about online tutorials and YouTube.

So why still traditional lessons or even registered mail in a special academy, school or institution?
Well, classical music is more than just a few works by Mozart and Beethoven.

This music genre includes its very own instrument play style that requires commitment, passion and, above all, discipline, patience and years of dedication. It is best to look for a suitable framework for this.

These famous personalities played a classic instrument

Little is known, but some of the best -known personalities in our history played or studied classical music.

Some inspired their passion for music to great inventions, for others their musical training in later careers was very useful.
Here are the rewarding effects of making music with a classic instrument.

Albert Einstein

With his relativity theory,
Einstein However, many are not aware that he was also an experienced violinist. If he hadn't taken the professional path of science, he would have become a musician.

His wife once reported that he liked to sit on the piano and played while he made scientific notes. What a fruitful connection!

Charlie Chaplin

The legendary comedian and actor Charlie Chaplin was also an accomplished musician and wrote the music for many of his films himself. Even as a child, he inspired himself for music and taught himself to play the piano, violin and cello.

An interesting fact on the side: Chaplin could not read grades and worked with professional composers to create his scores.

Three songs that he composed for the film also celebrated success. Below was a hit by Nat King Cole.

Alexander Graham Bell

We can Alexander Graham Bell for the invention of the phone. If he was not exactly working, he pursued his passion as a pianist. His original plan was to become a musician.

Bell's passion for music could have helped on the way to his historical invention. So he was able to see at a young age how sounds were transferred across the air and removed things were able to vibrate.

Neil Armstrong

The Astronaut Neil Armstrong was also a lifelong musician. His mother was a pianist and taught him playing early.
Later he reached the baritone horn in a school band. He also played in military chapels.

Meryl Streep

It is also not known to the masses that the three-time Oscar winner Meryl Streep studied as a teenager opera. Apparently arias could not captivate them permanently, so she broke off.

She may have prepared her short stay in the opera for her role in the film Florence Foster Jenkins.

Streep also learned violin for the film Music of the Heart, who told the history of real character Robert Guaspari, a violin teacher who taught disadvantaged children and fought for music training at public schools in New York.

Condoleezza Rice

The political scientist, diplomat and former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice originally targeted a career as a concert pianist.

She played impressively in the tender age of 15 Mozart's D minor piano concert with the Denver Symphony Orchestra.

As an adult, she performed at diplomatic events, including Queen Elizabeth II, and with the cellist Yo-Yo Ma.

Emily Blunt

The actress Emily Blunt has embodied a wide variety of characters-from Queen Victoria to an FBI agent. Few know that she also studied cello in her youth.

In one of her earliest films, My Summer of Love, she played "The Swan" from Camille Saint-Saën's carnival of the animals on the screen.

Wonderful classical music for your instrument

Do you already make music or are you maybe even a music teacher? Then I don't need the many advantages of playing a classic instrument for mind and soul for long. You will definitely get to know them themselves and experience them firsthand.

During a musical training or a corresponding course, you often meet a basic repertoire of music pieces, composers and learn the usual grades.

There is nothing wrong with that. This selection is based on decades of experience, educational aspects and tried and tested curricula. At the same time, as a trained musician, you can build on a common basis.

If you have already completed your training or would you like to look outside the box and try it out, then the question of a suitable source of inspiration for new grades, music pieces and works that not only take into account your needs, your individual taste and current knowledge, but also have been specifically prepared by successful and established musicians.

Admittedly, the Internet is an almost inexhaustible source of information. With the whole abundance, however, you quickly lose the overview and the quality of the material found also leaves much to be desired. This can be an annoying time eater and quickly lead to frustration.

This fact seemed to be unacceptable for the founders of Aurio. As a unique inspiration service for classic musicians, he gives her favorite music pieces precisely for your instrument - in a quick, uncomplicated and convenient way.
