The Rijksmuseum

The Rijksmuseum is one of the most important art institutions in Europe. It is also the largest art gallery in Amsterdam. It is located in a very popular square in Amsterdam, namely Museumplein. The museum's architecture alone is definitely worth a visit, as it is inspired by Gothic and Renaissance styles.

The museum's majestic interiors house a vast art collection and numerous artifacts from Dutch history – from the Golden Age to the modern era. Among the art treasures are works by Vermeer and Rembrandt, such as the famous Night Watch.

Not only the impressive works of art by Dutch artists, but also the country's sought-after specialties and delicacies can now be conveniently ordered online.

The Van Gogh Museum

Visitors to the museum can then enjoy more than 500 drawings and 200 original paintings. This selection represents the most comprehensive permanent exhibition of the Post-Impressionist artist's works.
