Especially young artists, but also established art galleries, are increasingly found when searching for “buy art” – and there are significant differences to be observed.

What should you consider when buying art online?

Before ordering a painting online, you should first research the art shop. Is it a genuine gallery or just a dealer?

Art galleries often collaborate with established artists, and the potential for an artwork to appreciate in value is significantly higher. For example, let's assume that after 5 or 10 years you want to acquire a new piece of art. Naturally, it's particularly gratifying if the artist is now much more well-known and their works have increased in value.

The Dresden-based gallery Inspire Art has pursued this idea from the beginning and primarily supports promising newcomer artists. At the same time, however, it also builds on established painters with whom it regularly organizes exhibitions and participation in art fairs.

The art market has become incredibly difficult to navigate. One might think that anyone buying art should be knowledgeable, especially when dealing with prices in the four- or five-figure range.

Abstract art is especially popular for online purchases

Inspire Art specializes in the online art market, primarily supporting young artists in selling modern and abstract art. Shortly after its founding in 2005, founder Thomas S. focused on close collaboration with established artists from the local area. Later, new artists from a wider region joined the network.

Inspire Art now has access to over 30 creative talents, including international ones, who not only deliver exciting art but also benefit from a positive development in their level of recognition thanks to relevant exhibition activities at home and abroad.

For the art and production gallery Inspire Art, a painter's formal art education is not necessarily crucial. What matters most is the extent to which the artworks resonate with the viewer. Of course, an artistic background or a profound message behind a piece is particularly compelling and often necessary for gaining a deeper understanding of the work, but this is something that cosmopolitan self-taught artists also grasp.

As Joseph Beuys already said: "Every human being is an artist!"

"Art makes you happy"

The artists do not intend to become the next Klimt or Picasso ; their focus is on bringing joy to themselves and others through their art. We know today that creativity in everyday life, especially in one's profession, can be extraordinarily enriching. This not only fosters a strong sense of freedom but can also be fulfilling, even life-affirming.
