The wave of success of MONET'S GARDEN – AN IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION EXPERIENCE has now reached the Bavarian metropolis of Munich .

The extraordinary exhibition concept is staged using state-of-the-art technology, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the world and world-famous artworks of Claude Monet (1840-1926) .

Through the use of elaborate installations and projections, combined with music and fragrances, breathtaking worlds of color are created, allowing viewers to bring the paintings to life in a completely new way. This unique experience transforms illusion into reality.

As a captivating experience for all family members, the entertaining walk through the work of the renowned Impressionist also offers the opportunity for active participation: guests who embrace each other have the chance to create a true explosion of color à la Monet ; those who act with vigor transform themselves into artists; and those who wish to design their own water lily can admire it in the pond.

The immersive art experience will be presented from October 27, 2023 in Munich at the premises of Utopia, Heßstr. 132.

To immerse themselves in the fascinating world of the famous French artist, guests are taken on an exciting journey through three unique themed rooms. Each room is an absolute highlight, offering visitors not only insights but also completely new experiences and perspectives on Monet's life, work, and impressive creations.

The first leg of the journey takes us to the studio of the creator of Impressionism . There, the public is offered a new perspective on the works of this artist, which not only provides insight into his paintings, but also into his perceptions, techniques and creative processes.

Monet's central themes such as light, shadow, wind and water as a reflection find their place and are interwoven with state-of-the-art technology to create a poetic overall concept.

From the workshop, the journey continues to Monet's garden staging : Via the Japanese bridge in his lush garden and past Monet's house, one arrives at the impressive wall projection, which can be interactively designed by the visitors themselves – an experience that is both physical and poetic.

"Perhaps I owe it to the flowers that I became a painter." (Claude Monet)

In the showroom, which forms the highlight of the exhibition, visitors can fully immerse themselves in Monet's paintings and truly experience them. They lose themselves in the poetry of these world-famous works such as "Cape La Hève at Low Tide , "Lady in a Green Dress," or "The Studio Boat .

The water lily paintings , considered the pinnacle of Monet's work, are presented at the end in a way that does justice to the great master: the entire room is transformed into a huge water lily pond, creating the illusion of an endless whole.

The viewers are at the center of the paintings, immersed in the interplay of light and sound, and are thus an integral part of the event – the artworks interact with them and transform art into an impressive poetry .

Monet's Garden is a successful symbiosis of the artist's great works and an immersive journey of discovery that will carry Monet's dream into a new era and make it unforgettable.

"The exhibition is an experience for everyone – from young to old. Visitors experience the world of Claude Monet, his colors and famous works in a wonderful way, as if they were actually in the scene. Colors, light, the projection of water – everything comes alive!"

Roman Beranek, creative director.

The unique concept for success was developed by the Swiss creative lab Immersive Art AG in cooperation with Alegria Exhibition GmbH .

"The exhibition has been incredibly well received. We couldn't have imagined this in our wildest dreams. We are overwhelmed by the response."

says Dr. Nepomuk Schessl of Alegria Exhibition GmbH and producer of the exhibition.

Following a great start in Berlin at the beginning of 2022, the immersive art experience MONETS GARTEN has already been presented in New York City, Vienna, Hamburg and Stuttgart.

Art meets cutting-edge technology – what does the term “immersive” mean?

“Immersive” describes an effect in which the viewer is immersed in a multimedia illusion of image and sound and perceives it as absolutely real.

A 3D mapping projection system allows content such as graphics, animations, images, or videos to be projected onto three-dimensional objects , creating a unique atmosphere. Music and scent installations, combined with projections, conjure breathtaking worlds of color before the audience's eyes; everything becomes more vibrant than ever!

Whether young or old – this exhibition is something truly special for everyone. Visitors experience Claude Monet's world in a wonderful way, as if they were actually there.

MONET'S GARDEN is a masterpiece and will undoubtedly have a lasting impact – on both art lovers and technology enthusiasts!
