Acrylic on canvas, 2023. Signed. Unframed. Size stretched on a wooden frame: 40 x 60 cm.
Born in Lübeck in 1965, the artist was profoundly influenced by his encounter with the painter Jürgen Runge (1929-92). As a plein air painter, he creates most of his works on location, exclusively using a palette knife. This technique allows for both impulsive work and meticulous attention to detail.
