Sculpture “Sneeuwuil – Snowy Owl”, bronze grey

"Frozen Moments" is the aptly chosen title of a book about Evert den Hartog's work. The artist captures the tension of the moment, particularly in his animal depictions, like few others. Even with his snowy owl, the viewer almost expects it to glide silently past them in the very next moment.

Sculpture in fine bronze, cast using the lost-wax process, hand-patinated in gray and polished. Limited worldwide edition of 99 pieces, individually numbered and bearing the Hartogs signature emblem. Dimensions approx. 33 x 35 x 24 cm (H/W/D). On a diabase base, dimensions 4 x 19.5 x 18 cm (H/W/D). Total weight approx. 9 kg.
