There can be numerous reasons for buying an art Works of art can not only represent a lucrative investment object , but also serve many people as an expression of their very own personality and as a stylish decoration objects in the home four walls.

The popularity of abstract art has increased significantly in recent years. This is hardly surprising, because these works stimulate the viewer's imagination in a very special way and offer him a completely free interpretation.

But how can you actually see in the large and varied selection which abstract artwork can really be rated as "good" ? The following article provides the answer.

What is abstract art?

Abstract art is an art direction, which is characterized by the absence of objects in question and an emphasis on the shape, color and texture.

This art movement is not about representing or mapping something specific, but rather about its own form of artistic expression. In contrast to figurative art, the focus is on the formal aspects of the work of art with abstract art and not on the content.

Unselessly art can be divided into different currents, such as concrete art or information .

The concrete art focuses on geometric shapes and clear structures, while informal painting is characterized by spontaneous gestures and unpredictable color gradients.

The emergence of abstract painting goes back to the early 20th century with artists such as Kasimir Malewitsch and Wassily Kandinsky . During this time, many artists broke with traditional ideas of art and began to take new ground.

Nowadays, abstract art is still an important part of the contemporary art scene with many well -known artists such as Jackson Pollock or Mark Rothko .

The abstraction can therefore be very different - from geometric shapes to organic lines and areas. Many abstract artists have tried to bring their innermost sensations to the screen and thus create an expression of themselves.

Abstract pictures - that makes a good work of art

Abstract images are characterized by the fact that they do not contain any clearly recognizable elements. They consist of colors, lines and shapes that are combined in an individual way.

For a good abstract work of art speaks that its composition is balanced . This creates a harmonious impression on the viewer. This in turn results from the fact that the shapes and colors are ideally coordinated . In addition, good abstract works of art are usually characterized by the fact that they have a certain depth and layer .

These allow the viewer to sink completely in the picture and to discover new things again and again when viewing.

However, the originality of the artwork must not be neglected. Good abstract art challenges the viewer and allows him to feel individual emotions .

With their work, artists should not imitate or copy any other work of art - rather it is about making their picture a personal and therefore completely unique statement .

With regard to the colors, the main thing is that the viewer has a strong emotional effect. This succeeds in combining colors in creative and unexpected ways. In this way, a special atmosphere or mood can be created.

The color palette of a good abstract artwork is therefore always carefully selected. It also strengthens or complements the general composition of the work.

technical quality is also important . Among other things, this shows that the lines are precise and clear. The colors should also be characterized by a good coordination.

“Noble Gloss” collection, the artist adds a very special touch of luxury . The already demanding structure of the images is completed here by the use of leaf silver and real 24 carat gold leaf .

As a result, each picture has a very special, individual note. The energy that emanates from the works of art can be described as positive and powerful. The pictures from this collection are perfect for almost every room in the apartment and always form a real highlight in this.

"Farbrausch" collection also shows what good abstract works of art can look like. The impressive, expressive acrylic images really challenge all the senses for the viewer. The colors show themselves as bright and the forms shown as extremely dynamic.

This is how the images of the collection meet every room with joy and energy. The walls of the apartment seem to be brought to life almost themselves - exclusively through the impressive expressiveness and creativity of the works of art.

Art styles and movements

The art style or also the direction in artworks refers to the uniform expression of the artworks and cultural products of an era, an artist or an artist group, an art movement, or an art school.

This is a tool for categorising and systematising the diversity of art. It denotes similarities that distinguish it from others.

The term is thematically related to the Art Movement, but it should not be viewed solely within a temporal framework and is therefore much broader.

In this section, we would like to help you gain a better understanding of styles and movements in art.
