Miguel Guía was born on October 29, 1960, in Madrid. He spent his childhood in his family's foundry and sculpture workshop, thus being exposed to artistic creation from a young age. Surrounded by various artists, he acquired extensive knowledge of the craft of sculpture. His initial style was strongly influenced by Cubism, with a particular focus on the works of Picasso and Manolo Valdés. For many years, he cultivated the Cubist style and also began exploring Realism. Over time, however, he developed his own style, which he calls "Art Essence." By this, he means "breaking the form to find the essence of sculpture."
