Günter Christlein from the house of a doctorate from the physicist began his career as a sculptor after studying the sculpture at the University of Munich. Since the early 1960s, he has been modeling sculptures of great sensual physicality and erotic charisma. The expression and body language of his girl figures are always atmospheric and aim at a very specific form of sensual beauty or erotic address. He consciously does not work out his sculptures completely, but lets them grow out of the modeling tone, as it were. So he creates contrasts that appeal to the viewer in his sense of form, his senses, his mind and his subconscious.
