Garden sculpture “Mother Earth Dancing” (original / unique piece), bronze

The Roman Gaia, the African Konkomba, the South American Pachamama, the Indian Prithivi – mythologies around the world feature the motif of the primordial mother. Often, the creation of the world and nature is linked to highly revered female figures.

Beth Newman-Maguire's "dancing Mother Earth," who, enveloped in foliage, distributes life and fertility in an elegant dance, thus goes back to an ancient, archetypal myth – even if she understands how to express it in a highly modern style.

Unique bronze piece, cast using the lost-wax process, hand-chased and patinated.
