The sculptor and designer Birgit Stauch was a private student of various renowned sculptors, including Arno Breker and Rudolf Alexander Agricola. Her ibexes are made of cast metal with a bronzed finish, mounted on a polymer stone base.

Birgit Stauch's fascination with form and design was instilled in her from birth: As the daughter of a master sculptor and stonemason, she grew up surrounded by sculptures. Initially trained as a form designer, she also turned to sculpture and took lessons from renowned artists such as Arno Breker and Richard Alexander Agricola. Stauch worked for many years as a sculptor and designer in an art foundry and also worked freelance. In 1996, she successfully established her own business.
