Bernard Peltriaux, born in Reims in 1921, was an outstanding French painter who, after studying art in Paris, worked in the studio of René Jaudon. His works, deeply influenced by the social life of his time, vividly capture the woman of the Belle Époque and the Roaring Twenties. Peltriaux portrayed elegant and strong women who clearly distinguished themselves from their mothers' generations and explored new possibilities in life. His work is not only a tribute to a bygone era but also reflects the changing role of women. His magnificent depictions can be found in numerous private collections worldwide, underscoring his artistic significance.
