About Sime, who was born in Croatian Gorica in 1968 as a Mladen Simunovic, painter and sculptor Sime is part of a young generation of artists who have long since considered the question of tradition and modernity. Rather, it can be seen in his sculptures that the "old" issues of art are far from exhausted for him: he can always gain new, refreshingly subjective perspectives.
