Peter Hohberger, born on November 12, 1939 in Silesia, began drawing and modeling early on. After a successful acting career, he is now devoting himself to painting and visual art, seeing himself as a classic sculptor. His work is inspired by the beauty of the human body and nature. Unaffected by modern currents, he creates acts and portrait busts that reflect his admiring examination of antique masters, Auguste Rodin and especially Arno Breker, whose teachings have shaped him. Hohberger expresses: "Art that enriches life and delights people survives any kind of so -called zeitgeist."
