To celebrate the day of the dead, the artist was inspired to paint a homage to Frida Kahlo and her surrealistic style. His painting "Four Fridas" shows her in four different ages: as a young cross-dressing rebel, as a mature woman in a wheelchair, who holds like a child, and the day of the dead Caterina Calavera in front of the window. The characteristic hairless Xoloitzcuintli dog at the feet of Friday traditionally was considered a psychopomp, which led the dead into the underworld.
