Human bronze sculpture "Dog whistle" (2020) by Peter Hermann

Peter Hermann (*1962 in Bietigheim) began his artistic career with an apprenticeship as a stonemason, which gave him the basics of sculpture. During his studies at the University of Arts in Bremen, he discovered the freedom of artistic work and chose wood and bronze as preferred materials. His sculptures address the image of man and radiate a steadfast, earth -bound presence, often accompanied by animals such as fish and owls or everyday objects.
