In her large series "Girl in A Suit" - which also includes your popular acrylic image "Hugs and Cats" - Julia von Solemacher does not solely paint realistically. For the women she shows here, for example, she only minimally indicates the facial features. As a result, she wants to leave the viewing scope for her own interpretations and fantasies.
Original painting 2023, hand -signed. Acrylic on canvas, stretched on a stretcher frame. Wedge frame format 100 x 80 cm (h/b). Framed in natural -colored solid wood frame with shadow joint strip. Format 103 x 83 cm (h/b).
