The artist, born in Lübeck in 1965, was shaped sustainably by the encounter with the painter Jürgen Runge (1929-92). As a Pleinair painter, he mostly produces his works on site, he works exclusively with the spatula. This painting technique enables impulsive work, as well as to work out details.
