"The other side" (2023) - Abstract oil painting by Beata Belanszky Demko

The Hungarian artist Beata Belanszky Demko is inspired by the world of photography at a young age, which she discovers through her father's profession. Later she finds a final form of free expression in painting, which she shares as part of the "Transylvanian Artists Community" during meetings or joint exhibitions with other artists from all over the world. When painting, the artist is initially directed by a feeling of peace, harmony and silence. Their gestures are intuitive and their creation unfolds while their imagination is growing. The process is therefore the focus: the colors should express themselves, the shapes should come together and the emotions when painting should bring color to life. With oil or acrylic, brush or knife, the artist can explore her inner self and become an observer or witness of her artistic creation - a “miracle” of her work, as she calls it. Your compositions are fluid and transparent. They dare to combine geometric elements with smooth shapes and mix steamed tones with bright shades. Matters and transparency merge with each other. The dreamlike landscapes or sunsets in her works mirrors n opposite the complexity of humans and reveal a greater truth.
