In addition to Werner Berges, Heiner Meyer is one of the fathers of German pop art and former assistant of the master of surrealism-Salvador Dali. Meyer quotes pop-cultural phenomena, fashion labels, comics and film stars and transfers them into his own visual language. On the screens offered here, the artist also works with typographic elements from the advertising aesthetics. Meyer lives and works in Bielefeld.

Works by the painter and sculptor are owned by numerous public and private collections. For example in the Miami Art Museum, the Würth Collection in Künzelsau, Museum Ritter and the Roman Germanic Museum in Cologne.
