Grigor Velev is a Bulgarian professional contemporary artist. He was born in Sofia in 1969. In 1999 he completed his studies at the National Academy of Arts with a master in Fine Art Painting. Since graduation, he has developed as a successful artist with many solo exhibitions across the country in Bulgaria. He loves to expand his unique style of modernist surrealism to realistic pop art and bizarre neoclassical act. His pictures always surprise with precise living colors and unique delicate details. His professional, highly educated technology is breathtaking with its remarkable surrealistic accuracy and precision in the colors. The sharply removed dream landscapes and coloristic figure scenes make every oil painting a valuable work of art. In his free time he works as an art teacher at the art college in the city of Elin Pelin, where he also lives. He has been working with the Bulgarian Integrated Artists Gallery in Sofia city since 2017. Now this collaboration leads to the successful global distribution of almost 60 original works of art from him and to the general development of his art style and technology. Many of his works of art are already in private collections in the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, South Korea, Taiwan, Germany, Italy, France, Dubai, Greece, Switzerland, Luxembourg and many other countries.
