Ann Vrielinck
discusses and questions the Belgian artist Ann Vrielinck in her bronze sculptures aspects of human action and behaviors in the community. They often illustrate this in the form of groups of slim, highly abstracted bodies in rough, untreated bronze. She only needs a few details to make the gestures and movements of her characters clearly recognizable.
Ann Vrielincks (*1966) Artistic training began at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bruges. In 1988 she received a higher degree at the ST-Lucas School of Arts. Later she also graduated and took some courses to restore paintings and ceramics. In the meantime, she teaches visual arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bruges.
