Dagmar Vogt's current sculptural works focus on the human figure. In earlier creative phases, the artist had already intensively explored the female nude and, after many years of abstract representation, is now returning to the concrete figure.

As in her painting, it is also important to her in sculpture to explore the boundaries between precise anatomical and free, open sculptural representation.

Dagmar Vogt, born in 1960 near Cologne, characterizes her work by the fusion of abstraction and representational art, focusing on the decay of nature. In her large-format, relief-like paintings, she captures dreamlike, blurred impressions of nature, with series such as "Blossoming and Wilting" depicting the life cycle in nuanced color gradations. As a painter and sculptor, she explores the boundaries between anatomical and free sculptural representation. Trained under Markus Lüpertz and Mathias Lanfer (a master student of Tony Cragg), Vogt works and lives in Herdecke, Wuppertal, and the Allgäu region. Her works are represented in German and New York galleries. In 2018, she won first prize in the sculpture category at the Kitz Award in Kitzbühel.
