Bucci's female figure shows, deeply rooted in art historically in Christian design, a modern female figure whose visible heart protrudes from her coat -like body. A symbol of love, protection and care.
Bronze edition, cast using the lost-wax casting technique, hand-chiseled and patinated. A total of 49 numbered and signed copies were produced.
The bronze and ceramic figures of Italian sculptor Andrea Bucci directly engage the viewer with their clear forms. The sculptures feature clearly defined themes and messages, which Bucci usually conveys through the example of a single person. Andrea Bucci, born in 1966, gave up his career as an architect in favor of sculpture. Since 1987, he has had numerous exhibitions, primarily in Europe and the USA, and his works are represented in public and private collections worldwide.
