Wood sculpture "Dream team" on friendship, from the artist duo Doppeldenk

The Leipzig artists Marcel Baer and Andreas Glauch have been working together under the name "Doppeldenk" for Doppeldenk For their paintings, sculptures, prints and light objects, they often extract well -known symbols, pictograms and figures from their respective contexts and present them in a new and unfamiliar form. With a stylized and comic representation in contrasting colors, double thinking work out the relevant attributes of their motifs and thus create subtle critical and sometimes humorous comments on mass cultural phenomena.
