Without false respect, the artist and qualified architect Jan M. Petersen, born in 1969 in Bad Vilbel, Hesse, humorously questions art history while simultaneously engaging with it with enthusiasm. In addition to his practical woodwork, on which he displays his cheeky yet wise slogans, all of which speak of his passion for art, the artist also inspires with his small- and large-format sculptures and colored steel cuts. Jan M. Petersen lives and works in Brandenburg.
