of the South Tyrolean sculptor Richard Senoner, file has made a focus of his work and perfected the representation of female bodies in over 15 years. His wooden sculptures show women in different sensual poses. "The act - the classic motif in art par excellence - gives me the greatest possible scope in my work as a sculptor to implement expressiveness, aesthetics and harmony in sculpture. My primary concern is to present people in different thematic aspects," he says.

When designing his characters, Senoner is strongly based on the real forms of human body building: "My works characterize a detailed and precise elaboration," said the artist. In addition to the female files, other motifs belong to Senoner's portfolio, especially from the field of sacred art.
