Christine Müller's mostly large -format work combines a happy positive aura. Whether flower sea, spring meadow or the visual translation of a piece of music by Debussy, the painter's works always bristle with vitality and dynamics. The apparently fleeting and spontaneous way of working with pastosem brush strokes finds its art -historical reference in abstract expressionism.
The artist is inspired by the work of works by famous composers such as Chopin, Ravel or Tchaikovsky. The spontaneous associations for music translate it into an impulsive visual language of surreal -looking shapes and structures in a wide range of color. And despite all the superficial abstraction, the color of the color can be recognized every now and then in more detail elements such as faces and figures. She tries to empathize with the essence of music in her paintings, says Müller.
