Portraits of Black Women-"Understanding means perceiving patterns"
in 2016 the British artist Mikéla Henry-Lowe began this journey, with the focus of her work being on the presentation of black women in society and in social media.
The artist wanted her work to draw attention to the more positive and solemn image of black women, apart from the usual stereotypes of negativity.
