"Boldness of light - modesty of the shadow" - Rodin composed this dialogue of the increases and reductions into the "skin" of its sculptures. Rodin was far ahead of his time with his modern formal language, which left the listed pose of the academic style and gave up mental constitutions in moving surfaces.
