Constance Renken is a freelance artist and works in Hamburg. Her enthusiasm for painting developed at a young age. In her large -format, abstract motifs in which she processes acrylic paints with spatula on canvas, expressive colors dominate with which she captures the emotions of interpersonal encounters. The more extreme the color contrasts, the more intense and more genuine the feeling of encounter. "Sometimes you meet people in your life, alongside those you love, who fascinate and touch you in a special way. This type of encounter is sustainable for me with intensive thoughts that I have to process in a work," said Constance Renken. "The time when I immerse yourself in my art is a piece of freedom for me ... far from everyday life and all rules. I experience it as very valuable and fulfilling. Every work is part of me and my personal story."
