Abstract bronze sculpture “Double Head” by Günther Stimpfl
This "double-headed" sculpture, whose smooth, rounded surface invites touch, is reminiscent of the Roman god Janus, who was originally considered the guardian of the door. Therefore, he is depicted with a double face, one looking inwards and the other outwards. He became the god of beginnings and endings. The first month of the year, January, is named after him.
Overall height 29 cm; length 15 cm, width 13 cm. Limited edition, numbered and signed.
