Taxed spatial structures, coincidences, blurring, overlays - Christin Lutze (*1975) builds her picture worlds from this. The artist freely uses the structure of the classic landscape presentation and creates rooms in which time seems to stand still, such as Edward Hopper's room. Rational, surreal and emotional elements create a contemporary and yet solid simultaneity, "with an inherent calm and collecting force".
