The sculptor Jochen Bauer, born in Coburg in 1951, was one of the leading porcelain models in Germany for almost 30 years. Since 1999 he has been devoting himself to sculpture and painting as a freelance artist. With his outstanding technology, he is considered one of the great talents in the industry, whenever it is about putting a concept into the third dimension. In his own work, he prefers naturalistic motifs, which he knows how to perfectly implement with a precise look for flowing (body) shapes and expressive poses.
