Tradition, artistry and technology are closely linked in modern glass art. This is also the case with one of the best -known masters of this Mats Jonasson profession, whose works are created in the Swedish painteras. The Glashütte Maleras is a testimony for Jonasson's use, design and production in the Swedish glassblower village permanently, despite many counter offers. His glass art is now world famous among collectors. His artistic talent was already shown in 1959 at the beginning of his professional work. For many years he had the opportunity to work with the best -known glass artists in Sweden and developed his special style during this time, which he continued to perfected. The way to the completed glass object is long and leads from the drawing via an iron shape via an iron shape, which finally allows the pour in the special glass only after extensive post -processing. The blank obtained in this way is sandblasted and polished. Often there is even a second round. Artisans now engravate the glass object, which becomes a unique work of art through the extraordinary design.
