Creator versus Marker – that's the motto of this video. Here, the artist's hand itself battles against the character he created. The artwork is thus turning against its creator…this theme seems somehow familiar…;-)

With this 2D stop-motion duel on a whiteboard, artist Johnny Lawrence has come up with something truly special. The drawn fighter strongly resembles the Street Fighter console game series, which has achieved cult status in the gaming scene. Furthermore, elements from DBZ, Transformers, and The Matrix can also be recognized.

We believe this original idea and its beautiful execution definitely deserve a mention, and we hope that the final battle has not yet been fought here…
