Why water is important for your creativity

Most of us spend most of our time doing things that do not necessarily lead to a stronger or more creative life. Most of us get up in the morning, shuffle to work, come home, eat and fall into a brainless sleep cycle that was programmed by advertising and society to our brains. But some of us have a different side that exists outside of this trott.

The other part of us dreams great and strives for great ones. He is looking for challenges and opportunities for growth. This part of us is associated with something that is greater than our daily life. He is connected to the universe. This part of us is connected to our creative self. The first step towards discovering one's own creativity is understanding the strange but necessary connection between water and creativity.

What happens to her creativity when she has dried out. Most of us spend so much time with "busy work" that blocks our ability to think creatively.

Think about it: How long has it been that you have done something really creative? Something that she demanded beyond her comfort zone and forced it to grow? How long has it been since you wrote a poem, painted a picture, created a website or listed a song?

These are all acts of true creativity. They require focus, concentration and energy. But most of us, as I said, spend so much time to do things that do not demand that we literally exhaust our creativity reservoir. The result is that we become dry and become a scarf and our ability to create something.

The truth is: If you do not give your creative yourself some water, it will crush and die. And if that happens, you can give up just as well, because it makes no sense to fight against an empty tank.

There is a strange but necessary connection between water and creativity . Creativity requires focus, concentration and energy.

What does water have to do with creativity?
Water plays a major role for creativity

But it is even more important that it also requires a constant source of "water" - something that offers an endless stock of new ideas and opportunities. When they have dried out, your brain literally shrinks and dies. It is dried out and unable to absorb new information. And without this new information, your creative tank quickly becomes empty and you will stagnate.

Water is the source of all life on earth and the source of the entire creation. It is the fabric that all things are made of. It is truly the "mother" of all things. And creativity is a grumbling process at its core.

It is about pursuing new ideas and opportunities on how to supply your brain some water.

Let's not do anything: life is difficult. And creativity is difficult. The attempt to find new ideas and solutions for problems is extremely difficult.

The idiot savant-the unconscious genius

That is why evolution has programmed a survival mechanism in our brains, the "idiot savant". The "idiot savant" is an expert in efficient things without thinking.

It is the part of her brain who lets you drive a car or ride a bike without a training session. This part of her brain exists outside of her conscious consciousness. It is the "unconscious genius" that does the actual work when creating and solving problems.

But this part of her brain can only work effectively if it is properly nourished. And the way it is fed is by feeding it with new energy. And this is exactly where water comes into play.

Did you know that your brain consists of 90 % water? And did you also know that your brain consists of 60 % water before you were born? This means that they literally swim of ideas and possibilities in an ocean.

The outside world provides you with an endless stock of these ideas and possibilities. But your task is to choose those who really work.

This requires focus, concentration and energy. But the yield is enormous. By feeding your unconscious genius with new ideas and opportunities, make it to give birth to solutions for problems that you didn't even know about.

In other words, they create solutions for problems that they never knew about.

This is one of the main functions of the master creator - to discover problems that no one else discovered. The way to do this is to give your brain an endless supply of water.

Drink More Water Challenge from Waterdrop

Take part in the Drink more Water Challenge from Waterdrop . It's very simple: every day, 21 days, you will try to increase your daily water intake. I know that is difficult. But you will find that it is worth the effort. And why?

Because research shows that an increase in your water absorption by only 2-1/2 cups per day makes a dramatic difference in your quality of life. Incidentally, this research was carried out on patients with heart disease.

And it proves what normal people who do not suffer from a heart disease already know - the most important thing they can do to prevent heart disease is ... drink more water ! An alternative to water can also be tea, for example, because tea consumption also has been proven to increase creative creation .

The purpose of this challenge is not to force you to endure an endless series of water diets. That would be both cruel and unusual punishment. No. The purpose of this challenge is to slowly but surely increase your water consumption so far that you experience continuous health benefits.

Drinking bottles and thermal socks from Waterdrop
Waterdrop Mission Statement: Drink more water

In order to make the water drinking even easier and more comfortable, Waterdrop also offers a practical drinking bottle or thermal mug. So you always have your drinking stock on hand quickly. The fact that materials and the production process of these drinking bottles are sustainable is for Waterdrop, by the way.

We wish "good sip" and come through the summer well hydrated 🙂
