The textile weaving works of this collection are developed and reproduced in cooperation with artists and designers. For this purpose, Mondiar works with Jacquard and Tobelin weavers that weave according to old crafts and with love for textiles. With a maximum of 8 colors, the works of art are transformed into textile art.

The use of different yarns and weaves creates charming accents and height variations. Certain details are often further emphasized by embroidered elements or by incorporating shiny and lurex yarns into the fabric itself. Production takes place primarily in the Netherlands. All pieces are stretched in the MONDiART studio.

This is a handcrafted piece of art that ships directly from the MONDiART in the Netherlands. To ensure the work is inspected for impeccable quality, prepare it for safe shipping, and require specialized transport due to its size (bulky goods), shipping times are somewhat longer than for smaller, standardized, and pre-packaged items from our shop.

These typically range between 10 and 17 working days, depending on the delivery area in the Netherlands, Germany, or Belgium. We ask you to consider this when placing your order.

About the artist Martje Waals:

Martje Waals was born in the picturesque Dutch province of Brabant and has benefited from her experience as head of a fashion business over the years. This long deal with fashion gave her a fine feeling for style and harmonious color compositions. Her passion for lively colors, portraits and floral motifs mirrors t in her artistic work, which blooms in a variety of forms of expression.

Martje loves to experiment with different materials to expand and challenge your creative vision. Their ability to master acrylic, watercolor and oil-colored masterfully, which creates an impressive range of color nuances, is particularly noteworthy. Through targeted golden or silver accents, it gives its works of art a fascinating additional dimension that captivates the viewer.

In addition, it is a matter close to Martje to share their rich knowledge and enthusiasm for painting in their courses. She inspires her students to find their own creative expression and explore the world of colors with curiosity.
