Discover our collection of handcrafted tapestries made from recycled textiles and be captivated by the skills of great artists, photographers, and designers. Each tapestry is unique, densely woven from high-quality cotton yarn, and features a harmonious palette of just eight colors, resulting in an incredibly lifelike appearance.
The motif “Tibetan Child” – made from high-quality cotton yarn and limited to eight selected colors – allows these tapestry wall hangings to achieve photorealistic results that almost hypnotically captivate the viewer.
Our tapestry collection includes a variety of designs and sizes to perfectly complement your specific space. Enhance your home with sound-absorbing tapestries that not only look beautiful but also serve a functional purpose.
Each textile wall hanging naturally absorbs sound, as acoustic damping material made from recycled jeans was used in its manual production. This environmentally friendly mechanical recycling technique breaks down jeans into fibers and removes non-textile components, resulting in sustainable and high-quality acoustic solutions.
Our visually stunning acoustic carpets allow you to transform your interiors and create a harmonious ambiance. These works of art delight your senses and contribute to a sophisticated living environment.
The tapestry is manufactured in a factory in Belgium and stretched directly onto a stretcher frame and shipped ready to hang.
Material composition: 84% CO (cotton), 10% PA (polyamide), 6% PES (polyester)
Classification of the terms “Gobelin” and “Tapestry”
Originally, the term "Gobelin" referred only to fabrics (woven pictures) produced at the "Manufacture des Gobelins" in Paris. However, it is important to distinguish between woven Gobelins (tapestry tapestries handwoven in manufactories) and embroidered Gobelins (fine, hand-embroidered tapestries known as petit point).
Tapestry (or pictorial weaving) is the generic term for handwoven pictorial carpets. Although Gobelin has become the common term for high-quality tapestries, this particular item is, strictly speaking, a handwoven tapestry .
