Discover the Dutch Woven Art collection from MONDiART “Dreamy Woman” . These textile artworks are created in close collaboration with artists and designers who contribute their unique creativity.

MONDiART collaborates with experienced Jacquard and Gobelin weavers who produce high-quality textiles with great dedication and traditional techniques. Each piece is made in a limited edition and comes with a numbered and signed certificate of authenticity .

The textile artworks are transformed into textile masterpieces using a maximum of eight colors. The use of diverse yarns and weaving techniques creates appealing accents and variations in height. Certain details are often further emphasized through embroidery or the weaving in of shimmering and lurex yarns.

The collection includes various sizes, which are always specified in the description of each artwork. Since the pieces are made exclusively from colorful yarns, resizing is not possible. Production takes place primarily in the Netherlands. All artworks are mounted and framed in the MONDiART studios.

It should be emphasized that all textile artworks naturally absorb sound . Should additional soundproofing be desired, the manufacturers fill the pieces with certified acoustic damping material made from recycled denim.

About the artist

Martje Waals was born in the Dutch province of Brabant. After running a fashion boutique for many years, she developed a keen eye for style and color. She has a particular fondness for vibrant colors, portraits, and flowers, and has explored various artistic styles over the years.

She enjoys working with a variety of materials to creatively challenge herself, often combining acrylic, watercolor, and oil paints to create beautiful color variations. Accents of gold or silver add an extra dimension to her artwork. Furthermore, she loves sharing her knowledge and passion for painting in her classes.
