The J-Line sculpture depicts two highly abstracted, closely leaning heads in black. Facial features are limited to angularly suggested noses and eyebrows, while other anatomical details are completely omitted. The polyresin surface is consistently rough and finely textured, giving the object a matte, visually heavy appearance.
Measuring 21.5 cm wide, 31.5 cm long, and 42.5 cm high, the sculpture has a substantial volume. Its closed, block-like form and low center of gravity allow it to be used functionally as a bookend.
Integration into spatial concepts
Due to its monochrome surface and strictly minimalist lines, the sculpture primarily integrates into industrial design or purist, modern environments . The matte black structure creates a striking contrast when the object is placed against light, smooth walls or on furniture made of untreated, light wood.
Due to its dual use, it is particularly suitable for positioning in open library shelves, on long wall boards or on freestanding desks, where the sculpture serves as a lateral end for rows of books.
