About the artist:
Steve McCurry began his career as a photographer after studying cinematography at Pennsylvania State University. For nearly fifty years, he has been a world-class portrait photographer.
With a camera and few belongings, he started a transformative adventure in India. In order to familiarize the world with the horrors of the Russian invasion in Pakistan, he jeopardized his life to film it.
In its fascinating portfolio, McCurry captures the human mind in a variety of environments, from modern life to long -lost traditions and nations. In recognition of his extraordinary life's work, he received numerous awards, including the Centenary Medal of the Royal Photographic Society and the Robert Capa Gold Medal . He was honored at the admission ceremony of the International Photography Hall of Fame 2019.
