About the artist:

Even as a young boy, Serge Anton fascinated by faces, viewing them as books that reveal hidden feelings and moods. I am drawn to the extremes of life's timeline, from the carefree joy of childhood to the wisdom of old age, and find inspiration in contrasts. My aim is to capture the mystery of faces and the depth of landscapes, embracing the magic of darkness and silence.

My childhood fascination with my father's enigmatic office awakened in me a love for the color black, with which I, like a magician, conjure light. I choose to live away from the glare of the media, to find solace in nature and simplicity, and to recite Shakespeare's words.
