The sculptor Peter Hohberger is known for his impressive depictions of the human body, inspired by mythological themes. His works are characterized by a subtle abstraction and sensitive modeling, which lends them a special expressiveness. In his interpretation of Justitia, Hohberger deliberately avoided the Baroque pose with sword and scales, instead drawing inspiration from the Madonnas of Mercy of the late 13th century.
