Artcurial Auctions: Summer Edition of Monaco Auction Week 2024
Artcurial will host the summer edition of Monaco Auction Week on the Riviera from July 6th to 10th. As in previous years, the previews and auctions will take place at the iconic Hotel Hermitage in Monte-Carlo. The program features an exclusive selection from the departments for collectors'watches, jewelry, Hermès & luxury bags , and Monaco Sculptures.
In addition, the Department of Automobilia auction off the collection of sporting and celebrity memorabilia from the legendary Stars'N'Bars. Collectors will have the opportunity to view all the lots on offer from July 6th at the Hotel Hermitage Monte-Carlo in the heart of Monaco.

Collector's watches

Departmentwatches presents an impressive auction featuring timeless masterpieces from the most prestigious manufacturers, including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Harry Winston in collaboration with Speake-Marin.
A highlight of the auction is the timeless Royal Oak with its distinctive "Tapisserie" dial in a 41 mm steel version (estimated price: €20,000–30,000). For lovers of Watches with complications, iconic pieces such as the Patek Philippe Ref. 5050J with perpetual calendar (estimated price: €30,000–50,000) or the Ref. 3969 with jumping hour (estimated price: €20,000–30,000), released to commemorate the manufacture's 150th anniversary, offer a special highlight.

A true highlight is a unique jewelry watch made of gold and lapis lazuli, which was delivered to the Middle East in 1973 and can be admired in Monaco from July 6th (estimated price: €100,000 – €150,000). In addition, a captivating Patek Philippe watch from 1977, Ref. 4399/1, No. 1277727 / 2766303, with an estimated price of €40,000 – €80,000, will be auctioned, perfectly complementing this exceptional piece.

Another unmissable highlight of Monaco Auction Week is the jewelry auctions. These events bring together the most prestigious jewelers that grace the Place Vendôme: Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron , and Chanel.
But American jewelers like Seaman Schepps and European houses like Buccellati, Bulgari, and Nardi also offer pieces of exceptional quality. Particularly striking are the embellishments with diamonds and a variety of colored and precious stones.

auction Hermès & Luxury Bags features unique collector's items from the most prestigious luxury leather goods manufacturers. Highlights include the Birkin 30 Himalaya (estimated price: €70,000–€90,000), limited editions such as the exclusive Birkin 25 by Hermès in collaboration with Nigel Peacke (estimated price: €18,000–€20,000), and timeless classics like the Kelly II 32 box noir (estimated price: €6,000–€7,000).

Monaco Sculptures
Start: July 10th at 6 PM
For the fifth consecutive year, Société des Bains de Mer (SBM) the Monaco Sculptures auction and exhibition is taking place in Monaco
A particular highlight of this year's edition is the outstanding collection of Patrice Trigano. The works by César, including Fanny Fanny from 1990 (estimated value: €400,000 – €600,000) and Le sein (estimated value: €180,000 – €280,000), contrast with sculptures by renowned artists such as Arman, Philippe Hiquily, Allen Jones, Berto Lardera and Salvador Dalí.
Also up for auction are three works by Victor Vasarely from the collection of the Château de Vascœuil. A masterpiece by Jean-Michel Othoniel (estimated value: €100,000–200,000) from a French collection is also expected to attract collectors' interest. Two important American sculptors, David Smith and George Rickey, will be featured from a Swiss collection.

Stars'N'Bars
Start: July 8th at 2 PM
Artcurial Motorcars is holding an exclusive auction on July 8th dedicated to the legendary Stars'N'Bars in Monaco. Founded in 1993 by Didier Rubiolo and Kate Powers, the bar was an institution and a popular meeting place for stars from music, film, and sports.
The auction includes more than 200 lots without reserve, including suits and helmets from motorsport, jerseys from football, cycling and tennis, photographs, autographs and personal items from Hollywood stars.
