Franz Schickhuber, born in 1977 in Simbach am Inn, lives in Simbach am Inn and has been practicing digital photography since 2008. Initially, he focused on classic photography, focusing on nature, animals, and landscapes.

A few years later, he added experimental digital photography to his repertoire. These are the distinctive droplet and smoke images. At the same time, he is distinguished by his talent for artistically translating images into photographs.

Regarding droplet photography:

It's a photograph in which water droplets (clear or colored) are dropped from a sufficient height with millisecond precision using a scattering technique. The resulting shapes are then captured with a camera and flashes. The interesting thing about it is that you can never predict in advance which shapes will emerge.
