Painting is courage. Courage with oneself and the world. Painting creates freedom.
Painting without a predetermined goal mobilizes intuition. It reflects the inner self outwardly. "The blink of truth" (Rousseau) allows images to emerge in the energy flow of colors and forms with their own dynamic, beyond space and time. A dialogue between work and creator.
I began with watercolor painting in childhood. Further training through various art courses. My formative influences come from Gerhard Richter, Francis Bacon, Schmidt-Rottluff, but also Pop Art and Street Art. Nature and the contrast to the urban environment still form the basis of many of my observations. My abstract paintings are an expression of my fascination with modern life – both positive and negative. On closer inspection, connections to the critical issues of our time always emerge. Art is perception, emotion, and therefore always political. That's why it's important for me to work abstractly or in the style of abstract realism.

In order to live the works of art, the abstraction is used, racles, glazes, brushes, spatulas, collagen, puoring, etc. based on acrylic painting.
The methodical, conceptual compositions is treated with a method that fusioned motif and background on the screen using mixed technique. Improvisation is personal access to work and the representation between the opposing motifs, abstractions and the figurative elements. They are intended to develop their own dynamics that stimulates to discover hidden elements and thoughts.
Rhythm, pattern and calm are important for the pictures I make. I start every picture with a sketch and then build layers. This creates the basis for the pictures and paves the way for the following applications or layers of color. Texture, surface treatment and color are very important aspects of my work so that each painting receives its own character and certain properties.
The aim is to create a work that takes up the viewer and leads you to a dialogue. The images can also be decorative, but also arouse interest, to get closer to more details.
A central theme of the portraits are men as protagonists of modern life. Pain, desire, love, mortality and the mystery to be man.
I want my customers to have pictures that they can enjoy for a long time. Only the best colors are used. Final fires ensure UV protection and protection.
