I was born in Freiburg in 1966 and grew up in the Kaiserstuhl in South Baden. I have been living in Breisach on the Rhine since 2010.
As a child I drew and painted a lot. Get the top grade in the subject of visual arts at school. So the path was predetermined for the profession of graphic artist. During this study, I learned how to use ideas to convey certain messages. My studies were purely manually built, i.e. I learned on the drawing board with pen and brushes.
After my studies, I worked freely or employed in the advertising industry for many years in the advertising industry and in publishing, in the field of applied art. In 1993 I started with desktop-tape publishing, ie print media design on the computer. From 2000 autodidactic further training for website designs. The internet's triumphal march began!
Since 2012 I have been devoting myself to free forming art in the form of modern painting. Instead of tearing board and computer, I switched to studio easel. Since I have learned various art techniques, I always experimented with new techniques. fluid art for myself in 2020 , which is also called Pouring to create dynamic images. The special thing about it is that I combine this abstract-expressionist style with naturalistic motifs, which I have painted very precisely.
Many of my image motifs show creatures. In particular, the elephants enchanted me. With my pictures, I club my love for painting and animals. I would also like to show the uniqueness and vulnerability of these creatures artistically. Nevertheless, I like to paint portraits of people. For my visual representations, it is important to me that "something" is expressed that is beyond the language. I work in series.
My work is available as unique and pressure. I regularly take part in exhibitions and am represented by various art portals on the Internet.
